About the Role:

A nationally recognized legal practice with offices across the country is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Denver office. This full-time position is ideal for a professional with 7+ years of litigation experience, including trial preparation, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, keen business acumen, and exceptional attention to detail while maintaining a teamwork-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, judicial decisions, legal codes, and articles.
  • Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and appeals, for attorney review and use.
  • Investigate case facts and applicable laws to develop strategies and prepare materials.
  • Assist with collecting, reviewing, summarizing, and organizing electronic and paper discovery.
  • Prepare trial binders and other essential case materials.
  • File pleadings electronically or in person with the court clerk.
  • Prepare affidavits and manage legal document files.
  • Deliver subpoenas to witnesses and other parties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, or a bachelor's degree in another field combined with an ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of litigation paralegal experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Strong cite-checking and proofreading skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trial preparation experience is highly valued.
